Goblin's Guide to: RECOVERY

March is literally here, goblins! Can you believe it?? I feel like January put me through the ringer, and in February, I was stumbling and tripping over myself trying to undo the chaos that January left in its wake…which, ultimately, led to more chaos and unwanted results. SO! March is the month of rest and recovery. And I want YOU, darling goblin, to join me. (Before you ask, yes, it’ll all be for FREE!)
I honestly can’t remember where I saw this prompt…it was either Adam Ming or…another artists’ Substack (I am so sorry I forgot!) But this series was inspired by the prompt: draw your First Aid kit for when you’re in an artist slump or need resetting. Here’s the little sketch I came up with:
But while sketching it, I noticed that all of these practices and things in my “First Aid Kit” heal me in different ways — different medicines for different conditions.
While this is a way for me to hold myself accountable in taking the time to slow down, I know I’m not the only one out there that’s been wound too tightly! Goblins far and wide must be tamed from time to time.
Here’s the Itinerary for the next few weeks:
Setting Intentions: Know Thyself
Body Reset: Drink recipe, Yoga/Stretch Routine, Mini Education on Rest
Beauty: How to build an At-Home Spa Kit, and product recs
Mind: Grounding exercises, tips for calming, journal prompt
Spirit: Practices and rituals that are applicable across all denominations
Creativity: Romanticizing EVERTHINNNNGGG!!! We’re gonna make brain dumping and goal-setting fuggin’ CUTE!
Then there will be a post for Reflection, which will be a moment to highlight the beautiful thing that is perspective.
